Custom Surfaces Inc., founded in 1979, specializes in applying textured concrete, which is a cost-effective option in concrete coatings for patios, pool decks and driveways. Textured concrete overlays transform dull, flat concrete into a beautiful surface that is slip resistant.

Textured concrete coatings were initially designed as a method of repairing or restoring cracked or damaged concrete without the expense and mess of replacement. It has evolved to transform virtually any concrete surface into an authentic and natural-looking tile, slate, stone or brick surface. It can withstand high traffic and the harshest conditions.

Interior or exterior, textured concrete is easy to maintain and resists damage from chemicals or UV exposure and inherently has non-slip properties. If you choose light colors, It will be cool under your bare feet.

Using a series of polymer-modified, cementatious and other components designed to infuse with concrete, plain concrete becomes a decorative, durable, smooth or textured surface. Simulated tile, flagstone, slate and other looks are perfected using a wide variety of protective finishes in gloss, satin or a natural look. The possibilities are almost limitless.

The sprayed texture (also referred to as "lace pattern", "knockdown pattern" or "Cool Deck") is a modified concrete product sprayed over existing concrete and textured by a troweled "knockdown" procedure and colored to the customer's specifications. Borders, patterns and multiple colors may be added for a unique or custom appearance. Custom Surfaces Inc. applies this surface to dry, clean concrete to prevent any delamination in the future.
